Duration: Half-Day Tour

Morning Session:

9:00 AM – Departure from your hotel in Colombo

9:30 AM – Arrival at Mount Lavinia Turtle Conservation Project

10:00 AM – Guided tour of the conservation project

• Learn about the conservation efforts aimed at protecting sea turtles
• Gain insights into the life cycle and behavior of sea turtles
• Witness the conservationists’ efforts in nurturing and caring for the turtles

11:30 AM – Interactive session and Q&A

• Engage in an interactive session with the conservationists
• Ask questions and learn more about the challenges faced by sea turtles and conservation efforts
• Participate in hands-on activities such as nest monitoring or hatchling release (subject to availability and seasonal factors)

Afternoon Session:

12:30 PM – Lunch break at a local restaurant (meal not included)
1:30 PM – Beach Visit

• Take a leisurely stroll along the pristine beaches of Mount Lavinia
• Enjoy the sun, sand, and sea while soaking in the coastal beauty
• Sugar beach & Lavinia on the beach

3.00 PM – Return journey to Colombo

4.00 PM – Drop-off at your hotel
